Hired by the vice president himself, the founder of MDC Partners, which had just been acquired by Anju Software. The assignment consisted of completing an existing Power BI for phase 1 in order to then be able to complete phase 2.
The assignment concerned a Power BI solution for and from the customers of MDC Partners (Stryker). Stryker acquired data from hospitals in England, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. This data provides insights into performed DBCs. An example of this is the placement of a new knee or a new hip.
By making this data transparent, it becomes clear how many DBCs there are. A DBC for the placement of a new knee or hip provides insights into how many knees or hips have been purchased by the hospital. By comparing its own sales data to the hospital’s purchases, Stryker can calculate the potential for the hospital.
The hospitals have a geographic location that is plotted on a map.
Both phase 1 and phase 2 have been fully completed, with a dimensional model in a SQL Server as well as in an OLAP (Analysis server).
